Com’è andato il Salone del Mobile 2023?
Quello del 2023 è un Salone del Mobile giunto alla sua 61esima edizione. In barba a chi lo addita come una manifestazione pronta al pensionamento, si può ben dire che il Salone è tornato a essere il Salone.
Presenze visitatori Salone 2023
Non lo dicono solo i numeri, con un +15% registrato rispetto al 2022, per un totale di oltre 307mila accessi. Non lo dicono le presenze straniere, con volti cinesi, indiani e brasiliani tornati a ripopolare gli stand. Lo dicono anche le sensazioni generali. La qualità degli incontri al Salone, la qualità dei visitatori degli stand, l’alto interesse manifestato e abbondantemente documentato sui social sono fattori aggiuntivi che si sommano ai numeri, già indicatori chiari.
Euroluce 2023 e la fame di design
Ritengo c’entri poco il nuovo layout di percorrenza tra gli stand, perché mi è parso non così innovativo, ma forse appena che modificato. Ha di certo aiutato l’aver reso percorribile solo un piano della fiera e la magia di Euroluce che mancava da troppo tempo. Ma la vera ragione è da ricercare nella fame di design. Ora che sempre più spesso confina con l’arte, l’artigianato, l’estetica considerazione del bello e dell’utile, il design si fa spessore. Non attira più solo i curiosi, ma avvicina gli appassionati, gli amanti, gli addicted. Il design è un lavoro di contaminazione, di bisogni che diventano circostanze abitative, di utilizzo, di riposo, di svago, di viaggi.
Diciamo che anche il meteo ha strizzato l’occhio al Salone, regalando ai design-weekers vento, pioggia e basse temperature soprattutto giovedì e venerdì. Quindi tutti al coperto tra gli stand, con buona pace delle file sotto l’ombrello del più glitterato Fuorisalone, diffuso, diffusissimo, in tutta Milano.
Nessuna polemica, sia chiaro, ma l’esigenza della pre-registrazione con tanto di indicazione della fascia oraria programmata per visite che durano 15 minuti forse è diventata un’esagerazione. Di sicuro è di difficile organizzazione.
